Below was the offered by Austal Philippines with signing contract within the year per SND Lorenzana.  As per Secretary Lorenzana, they expect the signing of the Contract for the Offshore Patrol Vessels (OPV) to be made by the end of this year (2019), and the delivery to be made by second quarter of 2021. With ABC budget of PHP 30 Billion and the cost will be PHP 5 billion (USD 96.15 million) per ship, total of six (6) ship

The Austal Philippine Navy OPV is based on a proven platform that has demonstrated success operating in tropical environments and conducting border patrol and maritime operations.
The Austal Philippine Navy OPV features an aviation deck enabling helicopter and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) missions.
The vessel is arranged with a starboard boat deck and stern well for the safe and rapid launch and recovery of RHIBs. The Austal Philippine Navy OPV is fitted with a mission bay and large aft storage area to facilitate the embarkation of containerized mission modules.

Philippine Navy 25 - 30 Additional Ships Updates Part 1 As part of Strategic Sail Plan 2020 and Desired Mixed Force of the Philippine Navy as well recent statement this year by FOIC the PN embark modernization acquisition both used and brand new naval vessels. Currently Philippine Navy has 94 ships in various size plus the incoming 2 JRC Frigate being build by HHI that will be delivered earliest April 2020 and September 2020 . Offshore Patrol Vessels Acquisition Project

OPV – Offshore Patrol Vessel as names implies is a Patrol boat categories and classified as inshore patrol vessels (IPVs) and offshore patrol vessels (OPVs). They are warships typically smaller in size than a corvette and can include fast attack craft , torpedo boats and missile boats , although some are as large as a frigate . The offshore patrol vessels are usually the smallest ship in a navy’s fleet that is large and seaworthy enough to patrol off-shore in the open ocean. Philippine Navy has many smaller IPV like Kagitingan class, Tomas Batillo, and smaller Andrada Class but none was offshore capable vessels except the Malvar  and Jacinto classify as corvette.
